The Global Abundance Alliance (GAA) is a non-profit organization designed to identify and empower individuals who have a commitment for making a difference in the world. We seek to support the work of such visionaries, by making the world aware of their work and providing a network of similar spirits.

Global Abundance Alliance is a chaordic organization (www.chaordic.org), modeled to include and empower many, diverse people and projects. The GAA is a home for many member initiatives and also offers a group of core services to support the people and organizations that come here.

GAA CORE SERVICES

• Global Promises Wiki - This wiki. It is a Web-based collaboration tool that is rapidly growing in popularity. Let us explain it like this: Two people sit down at a table in a restaurant. One scribbles an idea on a napkin. The other modifies the idea on the napkin - changing the wording, adding new thoughts, drawing sketches or otherwise contributing new content. A wiki is the shared napkin in cyberspace. Anyone who is authorized can go into the shared workspace and add, delete or edit content anywhere on the wiki's Web site. A blog usually belongs to one person, and mistakes are set in stone on bulletin boards. A wiki is a community forum, where history is dynamic. Wikis offer any number of people the chance to think aloud, share and collaborate. It's interactive. It's alive. This site was founded by a team of GAA members The wiki website was created to add power to the promises people have created. We invite you to participate, empower and enjoy creating. This is a community website and as it develops the community will be the one to design its future.



• Learning Leader Calls - Held as scheduled. People can join these calls and hear a prominent person from the community interviewed. Time is left for questions by listeners at the end. • Community Board Calls - Are held monthly, on the second Sunday of the month. This is where you can get into action around your promise. The Board of Directors of the GAA are on the call and also consider this their board meeting. To see the agenda (usually posted a day or two before the call, click HERE.
